Lisa Franz received her Master's Degree from the University Of Illinois. She has her LCSW and School Social Work Certification and has provided over twenty years of therapeutic services for adolescents and their families. Mrs. Franz's background includes treating individual adults, adolescent counseling, group counseling, parent counseling, family counseling and facilitating psychoeducation groups . Over the last twenty years, Lisa has devoted herself working with clients struggling emotionally, behaviorally, including criminal behavior, violence, suicide, sexual abuse, etc. with adolescents and families. Many of these experiences were daily occurances within the therapeutic school setting where Lisa served as an adolescent, family and group therapist. Lisa also engaged in the private and public school system as a school social worker and crisis interventionist.
In addition to specializing in crisis assessment, crisis intervention, individual adolescent therapy, individual adult counseling, family systems treatment, adolescent and adult group counseling on a myriad of topics. Lisa has spoken publicly about adolescents, she has led parenting programs to support parents raising adolescents and written articles for parent readers, Mrs. Franz currently serves as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients in Schaumburg Illinois.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Franz's knowledge and clinical skill set, as well as her warmth and compassion, have allowed her great success working with very challenging clientele addressing problem areas, confronting maladaptive outcomes while maintaining close, trusting, safe therapeutic alliances with her clients. Clients know that Lisa is dedicated on working to help people gain skills to attain and sustain joy and fulfillment in life.
